NEW YORK CITY – Oct. 24 2013 – Business Intelligence Associates, Inc. (BIA), a leader in eDiscovery software and services solutions, today announced that Alon Israely, Esq., CISSP will be part of a panel presenting a 4-hour workshop on legal holds titled “A Step-by-Step Approach to Developing Legal Holds” that is presented as part of ARMA International’s 58th Annual Conference being held October 27-30 at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.
The workshop is being held on Sunday, October 27, 2013, between 1 pm and 5 pm, and will offer a step-by-step approach to help governance professionals recognize when an organization should preserve records (both paper and electronic) related to government investigations or litigation. Participants will be able to study factual scenarios taken from known cases in order to analyze trigger events, and take a systematic approach to investigating and issuing the legal hold, as well as identifying and preserving evidence. The program is interactive, and will discuss state-of-the-art technology, and offer the opportunity or participants to participate in a mock legal hold questionnaire and a hold process using an anonymous tool currently on the market!
“BIA is thrilled to be part of this prestigious panel on this much talked about topic. We are certainly finding in our day to day discussions with clients that information managers and governance professionals are being tasked with managing legal hold and are looking for information on the process,” said Robin Thompson, VP of Marketing. “ARMA International is the global authority on governing information as a strategic asset, and is well known for its annual conference which offers the most current education,” added Thompson.
