BIA’s Knowledge Leadership Series of webinars debuted in August of 2012, and has grown into a highly regarded and nationally recognized educational series. It remains the industry’s only monthly webinar series presented entirely free of charge to attendees. With over 7,000 people having registered to attend these programs, BIA’s educational series has been the subject of two recent lifetime achievement awards for its creator and producer.
“At the end of our 2015 series of programs, we sent a survey to all of our previous attendees to determine what type of education they wanted from our series in 2016. Since over 85% of our attendees come from one of the six communities of practice managing ESI and discovery in-house, it was no surprise that the programming requests were overwhelmingly for programs that presented more first-hand information about how ESI and discovery are being managed in the corporate environment. With that charge in hand, we invited speakers from corporate environments to be a part of our 2016 series, and asked them share their experiences on a variety of topics affecting these issues,” said Robin Thompson, the creator and producer of BIA’s educational series. “We are thrilled at the speaker and topic line-up for 2016, and think our attendees will be too. There is something here for every community of practice managing information,” added Thompson.
